Free and inclusive programmes at Change Centre Dundee have been recognised at this year’s Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce Awards.
The team picked up the People’s Pioneer Award at the event yesterday, rewarding their work for promoting Street Soccer’s player-centred approach which allows all players to progress with personal development opportunities.
The award, sponsored by STV, highlights the success of the community-based work that continues at our Change Centre facility in Dundee and celebrates the teamwork and togetherness of all those who have engaged with Street Soccer programmes in the last twelve months.
Change Centre Manager, Scott Hollinshead, said “Its a great honour to win the award. People’s Pioneer is about putting people at the heart of the organisation and I believe that’s something Street Soccer do really well.”
“We are always developing, we listen to as much feedback from players, partners and volunteers to learn more about what we can do better. Winning awards is just testament to that development as we always aim to make people’s lives better.”
The Change Centre team now add the People Pioneer’s Award to their double scoop at last year’s Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce event, winning Future Skills Award and Overall Business Award in 2022.
