Our annual Gala Dinner returns on the 28th of this month and we are delighted to be welcoming everyone back in person. This event is key to spreading our message as we aim to strive for positive change through football.
Welcoming some of our amazing partners, sponsors as well as a stellar line up on the night, we hope to deliver a memorable evening at the Double Tree by Hilton Glasgow. This year’s Gala Dinner will focus on the Power of Sport.
Now more than ever, sports clubs and athletes are showing the impact they can have in society, whether that’s by supporting worthwhile causes, tackling inequality or using their profile to highlight societal challenges. As always, our Gala Event will feature a variety of entertainment, this year we are proud to have Harry Redknapp join us in the room, with Des Clarke and Emma Dodds hosting the evening. Our ambassador Andy Robertson will be tuning in for a virtual chat and impressionist Darren Farley will provide entertainment alongside Scottish musician Callum Beattie.
All of the funds raised on the night will be reinvested in to our grassroots programmes, as we continue to deliver life changing programmes across Scotland. We hope that our empowering player stories help raise awareness for our ongoing support to those experiencing social isolation, homelessness or struggling with their mental health.
We will also be celebrating our ten year anniversary of Scotland’s famous Homeless World Cup win in Paris. The legacy of this triumph remains strong within Street Soccer and we hope that recollections from the players will be a valuable insight to the experience, as we look to pay our respects to the late Ally Dawson.
Our last few tables for the night are still on sale, please get in touch with [email protected] to secure yours.
