Volunteer

Street Soccer Scotland relies on hundreds of volunteers every year from people volunteering their time to help out at our kids’ sessions to people offering their skills to us from graphic design to staff training.

Volunteering is such a huge part of what makes Street Soccer Scotland work! Each year we rely on hundreds of volunteers from all across Scotland to help us tackle social exclusion. Whether it is people giving up their time to help out at our kids’ sessions, volunteering at our fundraising events, being part of our set up crew at Tough Mudder races or people offering their skills to us from graphic design to help us with campaigns or staff training. We also work closely with our corporate partners and supporters to create staff engagement opportunities such as volunteering at our Annual Gala Dinner, Annual Corporate Golf Tournament or our National Tournaments. By working closely with our partners this allows us to create not only excellent, smooth running and fun events for those volunteering and attending the event but is also allows us to maximise our fundraising efforts by having more people available to raise funds by either holding buckets, selling raffle tickets and match funding with their employer giving programmes.

We host this on October 10th to mark both World Homelessness Day and World Mental Health Day. By working closely with our partners this allows us to create not only excellent, smooth running and fun events for those volunteering and attending the event but is also allows us to maximise our fundraising efforts by having more people available to raise funds by either holding buckets, selling raffle tickets and match funding with their employer giving programmes.
