New guest speakers announced for Gala Dinner event

Street Soccer Scotland are delighted to reveal two new guest speakers for next weeks Gala Dinner event.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers and world-famous Cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins will be headlining the event with an ‘in conversation’ segment with our hosts.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, Frank Bruno is no longer available to join us on the evening but sends the Street Soccer family his best wishes.

Rodgers, often revered as one of the UK’s top coaches will be part of the Gala event to share some of his stories across an impressive career which has included spells at Liverpool, Leicester, Watford and Swansea.

We are excited to be joined by Sir Bradley, who’s glistening career in cycling included multiple World Championships and Olympic medals. After retiring in 2016, he comes to Glasgow with some special stories to reflect on.

Street Soccer Scotland’s Gala Dinner event is one of our most important fundraiser’s and creates support for players across Scotland. This years event will be sponsored by the Burness Paull Foundation and sportscotland.

Now in it’s 6th year, our Gala was launched alongside our founding ambassador, Sir Alex Ferguson in 2017, with the event having raised over £1 million to support the life changing work of Street Soccer Scotland.

You can still secure a spot on the evening with tickets and table packages available online.
