Permanent session added in Alloa

Free football sessions will be arriving every week in Clackmannanshire after the announcement of our newest drop-in at the Indodrill Stadium in Alloa.

In partnership with Clackmannanshire Council and Wasps Community Club, Street Soccer Scotland will be delivering a drop-in weekly adult session every Tuesday at noon at the home of Alloa Athletic Football Club.

After delivering a six-week SCQF course for candidates in the area, National Network Manager, Stuart Lovell, was delighted to get the green light for a permanent session for players in the region.

“It has been fantastic so far, working in synergy with Clacks Council and the community arm of the football club, to get this session off the ground. There was tremendous appetite for a weekly drop-in from our candidates throughout their SCQF course and we hope to be able to support as many new players as possible.”

Street Soccer sessions are structured to provide players with a sense of belonging and provide support both on and off the pitch. The new session in Alloa, joins recent sessions in Ayr and Stenhousemuir in expanding the reach of Street Soccer’s network programme, which you can learn more about online.

If you, or someone you know, fancy dropping by for a game then please get in touch to find out more. Anyone can join and you don’t need any previous experience to take part.

Starting Tuesday January 9th 2024, Indodrill Stadium, Alloa, FK10 1RY. 12:00 – 13:30.
